The final project for 2024 was the completion of the new Utility Building (the well shelter) at the Park. Construction of the 12’ x 16’ building began in October to provide shelter for the well/pressure tank plumbing drilled and installed in July. Donated materials from Manion’s of Superior, Iron River Building Products and LP Hayward (LP Building Solutions), along with the physical labor of many, culminated in the completion of the shelter shown here. The workers included Rich Wiitala, Roger Johnson, Chris Forslund, Tim Peterson, Bob Pearson, Clarke Nicholson and Deb Forslund.
